Description
The Creda CAR050 Aluminium Radiator combines traditional radiator-style heating with intelligent electronic controls, giving you greater control over when and how your room is heated. With a 500W output, this compact wall-mounted model is particularly suited to smaller rooms or areas with relatively modest heating requirements.
The radiator uses an oil-filled aluminium construction designed to provide even heat distribution. Its clean white aluminium finish gives it the familiar appearance of a conventional radiator, making it easy to integrate into bedrooms, home offices and other living spaces.
An accurate electronic thermostat controls the room temperature to within approximately ±0.2°C, helping the radiator maintain the selected temperature without unnecessary heating.
For greater control over your heating routine, the CAR050 incorporates a 7-day programmable timer with up to four programmable heating periods per day. You can set different temperatures and heating periods around your daily schedule rather than having to switch the radiator on and off manually. Pre-set programmes and Comfort, Setback and Holiday modes provide additional flexibility.
Creda's Eco Start adaptive technology learns how long the room takes to reach the required temperature and can begin heating in advance of a programmed period. For example, rather than simply switching on at the time you've requested warmth, it can start earlier so the target temperature is reached at the scheduled time.
Open Window Detection provides another useful energy-management feature. If the radiator detects that the room temperature is failing to rise or is falling while heat is being produced, it can temporarily stop heating to help avoid wasting electricity through an open window.
The CapSense controller combines touch-sensitive controls with a backlit LCD display for straightforward programming and temperature adjustment. A control lock helps prevent unwanted changes to your settings, while battery backup protects programmed settings if the mains supply is interrupted.
With an IP24 rating, automatic reset safety cut-out and supplied wall-mounting bracket, the Creda CAR050 provides a compact and highly programmable alternative to a basic electric panel heater.
