Create the cosy appearance of a traditional stove without the need for a chimney, flue or solid fuel with the Dimplex Elbe EWT20E Optiflame Electric Stove. Compact and freestanding, the Elbe combines classic stove styling with convenient electric heating, making it particularly easy to add a fireplace feature to a living room, dining room, bedroom or conservatory.
The Elbe features Dimplex's Optiflame flame effect, creating the appearance of flickering flames above a traditional log-effect fuel bed. The flame effect can be operated independently of the heater, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of the stove throughout the year, even when additional heat isn't required.
When extra warmth is needed, the integrated 2kW fan heater provides a choice of 1kW or 2kW heat output. This lets you select a lower setting for gentler supplementary warmth or use the full 2kW output when the room needs a stronger boost. A thermostat helps regulate the heat for greater comfort.
The Elbe's black cast-effect finish and traditional stove proportions make it particularly suitable for positioning in or around an existing fireplace and hearth. However, because it's completely electric and freestanding, there's no requirement for a functioning chimney or flue.
Controls are discreetly concealed to preserve the stove's traditional appearance, while a built-in safety cut-out provides additional protection during operation. The stove can also be enjoyed with its doors either open or closed, allowing you to alter its appearance to suit the room.
At approximately 54.5cm high and 44cm wide, the Elbe is noticeably more compact than the Dimplex Club stove, making it a useful choice where you want traditional electric stove styling without taking up too much space.
With simple plug-in operation, independent flame effects and useful supplementary heating, the Dimplex Elbe offers an easy way to introduce the look and atmosphere of a traditional stove into the home.
